We offered to co-fund property upgrades and refurbishments to prepare the properties and house people in need for a period of 12-months. We are working in partnership with Women and Girls Emergency Centre (WAGEC), Weave and YWCA to provide wrap around support for residents at this site.

We have 40 years of experience in delivering solutions to complex social problems. We understand what it takes to address the housing crisis and hot to deliver the social and affordable housing our community needs. Our innovative and impactful approach is recognised in the industry and more broadly by decision makers.
Our staff and residents are passionate ambassadors for the difference a safe, secure, affordable home makes. We are out and about in our community sharing this knowledge, building our understanding of what works and pushing for change to make our communities better.
Building relationships
To influence systemic change, we build strong networks and connections with decision makers to share our knowledge and expertise. We also work with universities and academic partners to make a difference by building the research base, encouraging innovation and inspiring students.
Fifteen homes households impacted by family and domestic violence have been housed as part of a meanwhile use initiative in partnership with Homes NSW. The Glebe/inner city properties are earmarked for redevelopment and will now be used as transitional housing for a year as planning is progressed ahead of construction. Homes NSW matched our investment to upgrade the homes and we partnered with [2nd Life] to furnish the units with beautiful items that would have otherwise ended up in landfill. Working in collaboration with our partners Women’s and Girls Emergency Centre and YWCA, all homes were tenanted within [2 weeks]. Meanwhile use provides a powerful temporary solution as we work hard to deliver permanent social and affordable housing.
