Future-proofing our business
We take a long-term view to protect and grow our business to continue changing lives. We anticipate and prepare for change in the funding, regulatory and physical environments and have been early and voluntary adopters of reporting ESG and Modern Slavery.
We are voluntary reporters under The Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) (Act). Our statement outlines our approach to how we manage and mitigate risks in our operations and supply chains.
As part of our learning and development approach, our annual action plan enables us to build our capacity and that of our suppliers and stakeholders. This year, we have refreshed our procurement policy and process. Suppliers complete a checklist which is used to assess human rights and climate risks as part of our decision making process.
Our approach to modern slavery is part of our commitment to effective and transparent governance and demonstrates our values.
Bridge has been running a leadership development program for all people managers. The program builds skills and develops leadership behaviours into habits that support the organisation to perform well and for staff at all levels to feel good.
In partnership with Buoyancy Consulting, the program has seen us develop specific leadership behaviours that support us to:
- Provide CLARITY
- Nurture a positive team CLIMATE
- Build CAPACITY in ourselves and others
- Make a difference
We are measuring the impact of our leadership habits and practices through quarterly team surveys using Squadify. This feedback process identifies areas of achievement and improvement, empowering teams and leaders to agree and implement changes that work for them.
